Thanksgiving Again

I Thessalonians 5:18 “In every thing give thanks:
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (KJV)

Thanksgiving day is almost here.
It comes around just once each year.
It's good we set this day apart,
But thankfulness should fill our heart.

Not once a year but all year long.
In prayer and praise and also song.
Paul told us, “In every thing,”
Our thankfulness to God we bring.

It is Depressing

How depressing it must be
to go through life and never see
that there's a plan purposed for me
to live with God eternally.

By Christ's blood the way's been made.
Redemption's price by Him was paid.
I could never make the grade.
God did it all without my aid.

If you're not sure of eternity
then turn to Christ and bow your knee.
If you will ask His child you'll be,
